The Funky Brewery, located on the east end of the 120,000 SF Russian River Brewing Co. facility in Windsor, CA is a Pre-Engineered Metal Building. Due to the speed and ease of constructing a pre-engineered metal building, this portion of Russian River Brewery was completed as the final phase of the project. The brewery houses the barrel-aged and sours beers that must be kept separate from the rest of the brews. The Koelschip is strategically placed in the tower, the highest point of the Russian River Brewing Facility, to allow native wild yeasts ferment wart for sour beers. The clerestory and storefront windows, exterior stone façade, and insulated metal wall panels give the Pre-Engineered Metal Building, the Funky Brewery at Russian River Brewing Co., character and charm as well as functionality.
